2 groups in the Midlands are usually providing no-cost home refurbishments to low-income homeowners. COLUMBIA, S. C. — Albertha Delany Taylor has resided in her home upon Roberson Street in Columbia since she graduated senior high school. She says the home has been originally owned by the girl parents who occasionally do work on the house but have experienced issues with flooding. As a low-income senior resident, Taylor has been only able to get small work done on the home. She was advised with a friend to apply for free house renovations from Home Works.
