LEXINGTON, S.C. — The high school basketball season is officially underway as teams throughout the state hosted tournaments for Thanksgiving Week.
At Lexington High School, the annual Lake Murray Tip Off concluded its three-day run with the host Wildcats posting a dominating 99-33 victory over Strom Thurmond. Lexington went 2-0 in this annual tournament which has been tipping off each November for more than 30 years.
The River Bluff Gators went 2-1 in their Tipoff at the Dam with Wednesday’s 67-55 win over Gaston Day School from Gastonia, North Carolina.
