Soda Concert series will come back with a rescheduled Ziggy Marley show at Township Auditorium

Lower than three months after announcing the closure at the Columbia Speedway venue, the Cola Live concert series has announced the return. The series can make its return with a live concert from Ziggy Marley, the Grammy award winner plus son of legendary Frank Marley, at Township Auditorium on Tuesday, August sixteen. Marley was originally meant to perform in late 2021, yet that concert was delayed. This concert will be the to begin many in a new collection that will take place at Township Auditorium, the group said in the press release. Most of the shows will be held at in fall 2022 and will also be announced at a later date.

The live concert series began in Oct 2020 using the Columbia Speedway Amphitheater and hosted musicians like Mt. Joy plus Jason Isbell. After a number of postponements in late 2021, coordinators announced that the ambitious collection would no longer continue. “We had great hopes for the particular venue, and clearly spent aggressively to create a great performer and audience experience meant for live music in Columbia metro.
