Pro Day was an important day for Justyn Ross

The former Clemson receiver has to prove to NFL scouts he is healthy enough for the demands of the NFL.

CLEMSON, S.C. — There is no question that Justyn Ross is talented receiver whose 6-4 frame presents problems for opposing defenses.

But his recent injuries has been a source of numerous questions from NFL scouts. Ross missed all of 2020 due to neck surgery and after coming back to play in 2021, he missed the final three games of the season due to foot surgery after he broke his left foot in the UCONN game.

On Thursday, Clemson’s NFL Pro Day was the first chance Ross had to work out in front of NFL scouts since his surgery. He says he is 100 percent healthy but understands the questions will linger. But at some point, someone will take him in the NFL Draft. Where he lands will determine if he is perhaps the steal of the draft if his stock takes a hit.
