COLUMBIA, S.C. — Erick Pena hit a two-run home run in the fourth inning and another two-run blast in the bottom of the ninth to give the Columbia Fireflies a dramatic 10-8 win over Myrtle Beach Wednesday night at Segra Park.
The Fireflies were down 6-0 in the third when Pena’ first home run cut the deficit to 6-2. He would close out the game with a two-run bomb to right field to win the game. It was Peña’s second walk-off homer for Columbia and the Fireflies third walk-off win of the young season.
Columbia (15-8) leads the Carolina League South Division by two games.
