Open public safety checkpoints to be performed in Town of Lexington via July 20

Officials will focus on safety from several locations through Wed, July 20LEXINGTON, S. D. — Police in the City of Lexington will be concentrating on speeding and unsafe car owner practices as they conduct open public safety checkpoints at many locations in town. Lexington Law enforcement say this is in response to a boost in collision incidents plus citizen traffic complaints. Officials will be checking driver’s permit, vehicle registration, and insurance plan requirements. The checkpoints is going to be in place Monday, July eighteen, through Wednesday, July twenty, 2022.
