COLUMBIA, S.C. — Madison Entzminger recently wrapped up her basketball career by representing Spring Valley in the 74th North-South All-Star Game.
The senior guard stands five feet tall but her lack of height did not keep her off the court. Madison was quite tenacious on defense and just as tenacious on offense as her scrappy style led to quite a few hustle buckets on top of the normal jumpers and layups.
Madison’s energy combined with the other talented players helped Spring Valley make it to the 5A Upper State championship where the Vikings lost to eventual state champion Mauldin.
She has not decided where she will attend college but she has locked on a nursing major.
