SOUTH CAROLINA Department of Natural Sources, other agencies continue research near towersCOLUMBIA, S. Chemical. — Dive teams through South Carolina Department of Organic Resources (SCDNR) are once again out on Lake Murray for your second day, conducting research online for a missing diver. The particular diver was reported lacking near the towers at the dam on Lake Murray close to 1 p. m. Wed, Dec. 28, says DNR spokesman Stephen Fastenau. Sc Law Enforcement Division (SLED) is certainly assisting in the search, lending a remote operated underwater automobile (ROV) that allows rescue groups to penetrate the murky waters near the dam. The region being searched has a level of more than 100 feet, based on Fastenau. Newberry County Recovery is also aiding in the research. This is an ongoing story, come back for details as they provided.
