Kwame Marquis McKnight has been billed with attempted murder right after Wednesday night shootingPELION, Ersus. C. — Lexington Region deputies have arrested a guy they say shot into a vehicle, injuring two women and exactly where two children were furthermore inside. Kwame Marquis McKnight, 32, is being held on the Lexington County Detention Focus on three counts of tried murder, kidnapping and ownership of a weapon during a chaotic crime. Deputies responded to the call of shots terminated around 9: 05 l. m. Wednesday in the 1700 block of Pine Road in Pelion. When they appeared, they found two ladies with gunshot wounds within a vehicle at the home. The 3rd person in the vehicle had not been injured. According to the incident survey, one of the victims told deputies that McKnight and the sufferer were involved in a spoken argument when McKnight began shooting at the vehicle. The particular victim also said there have been two children in the vehicle at the time of the shooting which the victim was keeping one of them when the shooting started. Both gunshot victims had been treated at the scene then transported by EMS for an area hospital. McKnight has been held in the Lexington Region Detention Center.
