COLUMBIA, S.C. — The annual South Carolina versus Clemson football rivalry game will be under the lights.
The SEC and the TV networks announced matchups for the games on November 25, and the Palmetto Bowl game featuring the Gamecocks and Tigers was selected for 7:30 p.m. at Williams-Brice Stadium in Columbia. The game will be broadcast on the SEC Network.
Clemson leads the series 72-43-4 all time, but USC is coming off last year’s 31-30 upset win up in Tigertown. That ended a seven-game losing streak by the Gamecocks that doesn’t include 2020, when the teams didn’t play due to the COVID pandemic.
Before that game, however, both teams have a little bit of business, namely their games this weekend. USC (4-6, 2-6 SEC) hosts Kentucky, while Clemson (6-4) faces North Carolina at home.
