DILLON, S.C. — Dillon’s outstanding offensive lineman Josiah Thompson gave Shane Beamer another piece to the Class of 2024.
Thompson committed to the Gamecocks in a Friday morning ceremony at his school. Thompson chose the Gamecocks over Alabama with Clemson, Georgia, Tennessee and Miami also in the mix.
At 6-6, 280 pounds, Thompson is projected to be a left tackle for South Carolina. The rising senior is rated as the #2 offensive tackle in the country for the 2024 class.
Combined with the commitments of Kam Pringle of Woodland and Blake Franks of Greenville and Carolina has landed the top three offensive line prospects in the state for the class of 2024.
