Had my vehicle towed here February 21, 2025. I was told 2 1/2 weeks later March 7 that I would need a new engine and radiator. Was told Dustin was gonna search for new engine and radiator. Dustin called me back with a price two weeks later . He gives me the price for the engine and radiator. I gave a deposit to start the work. Here it is today April 21 2025 and still have not heard that my car is ready or any update. I have called multiple times and have been told they’re still working on it. I was told that they had the engine in house, the day I gave the deposit, and that the install should only take a few business days . April 21, today, has been 59 days since Pope Davis receive my car and yet still I have no car , no update , no peace of mind that the workmanship is quality. Are there going to more issues with new engine and radiator install.? How are they going to handle any future issues? Hard too have confidence in a company that seem s not to o have confidence enough call and update a paid -paying customer. I also use this vehicle for my job .. but they seem to care that it’s costing me money not only to have it repaired, but daily to have to rent a car and/or Uber.

Some of the most high quality customer service and care I’ve received in a long time. David and Jade at the front went above and beyond to make sure I was taken care of from start to finish. Very personable—yet still professional—interactions. I will be back for future needs.

Terrible experience with this location. I specifically selected Pope Davis because I was told that I could trust them to be careful and not damage painted and rims. I had my rims painted 3 weeks before taking my car to Pope Davis for new tires. We specifically told them that the rims were painted and confirmed that they had equipment to protect the rims. However, when I picked up my car, all 4 rims had varying degrees of damage - significant chips and scuffs in the paint. When we brought this to the attention of the employee checking us out, he did get the store manager, who then proceeded to argue with us, saying that the technician wrote a statement on the documentation that there was damage to the rim prior to us bringing it in, which was a complete lie. These rims were freshly painted and had absolutely zero damage prior to dropping the car off with Pope Davis. I truly believe the rims were damaged when they either took off the old tires, or put on the new tires, or a combination of both. And, in order to protect themselves, the documentation was then added to the paperwork after the damage occurred. This is the first issue I’ve ever had with a tire company and needless to say I am very upset. The store manager said that he was going to contact the store owner to discuss the damage, so we will see if they resolve this appropriately. For now, I am absolutely 100% disappointed with the service at this Pope Davis, and would recommend taking your car elsewhere. In response to their reply… Let me add a few things. First of all, those chips and scratches were not present prior to me dropping the car off at Pope Davis. And I have pictures to show that. This is not standard road damage and it was not present prior to them taking possession of my car. The rims were freshly painted three weeks prior to this episode, and they were pristine. I did not have any rock or curb damage at all. Secondly, as an additional comment on the quality of their work, within 24 hours of picking up my car my air pressure alarm went off. When I filled up my tires, none of them were the same pressure - varying from 28 to 40 psi. Also, the valve stem cover on one of the tires was not screwed down on all the way. This is just further commentary on how bad the service was that I received.

My truck was in for an oil change and 4 new tire pressure monitors. I wanted all four wheels balanced. I told them I currently did not have any tire pressure monitors in my wheels and if I needed to pay extra for the balancing that I would authorize the additional time and gladly pay. I explained balancing was my number one item and I want it done correctly. It’s only logical that once you add the tire pressure monitor the balance would be off. I dropped the vehicle off on July 2 before they opened so they could finish everything in one day. At 10 AM the phone rang and I was alerted that I needed rear rotors and pads. Not only did I agree to do the work on their recommendation I also had the front pads and rotors done, so everything would be on the same schedule. When I went to pick up the truck, I immediately noticed that the right front wheel was counter balanced Which is not an industry standard. This is when you put weight evenly on both sides. So I’ve got weight at 6 o’clock and 12 o’clock canceling each other out. I also noticed the other three wheels still had the old weights and had not been balanced. I went inside to address it with Matt. I told him that was not industry standard and he argued that it was. When I ask him what he was going to do about it. He said we comped your wheel balancing anyway, so you didn’t even pay for it. I took my truck and left and was not going to go back but only 2 miles down the road my brand new brakes in the rear locked up and started to smoke. I called Matt and he said he needed to speak with, his manager Dylan and he would call . After 20 minutes, I decided to drive my vehicle back to the store where I found Dylan in the back, charging his air conditioning and it didn’t appear anyone was going to call me. They took off the rear wheel and Dylan told me I had a bad calipers and that’s probably what caused the damage to the brakes. I feel sure this additional work would’ve been caught on a test drive and not by me on the side of the road. On July 3, I spent the additional money for the calipers and said would you please do something about counterbalancing. I picked it up today and still nothing done. No one went over my ticket or my repairs. Needless to say it was poor customer service. I’m not sure what their response will be but at the end of the day I was lied to about the balancing and allowed to drive away in an Unsafe vehicle because of poor quality control processes. They say all companies make mistakes , But what makes a good company is what they do when there is a mistake… I sincerely hope you guys put some processes in place and get things turned around. Best wishes Jeff Marshall

Took my Cheif Blue Jeep Wrangler to get a Estimate on installing new BF Goodrich All Terrain Tires with Dustin. They ordered them for me, I paid $1,850 for 5 . I love the way my Jeep sits taller , not to mention the bigger tire on the back makes my Jeeps Covers fit better. I will feel safer splashing thru the mud holes / driving the slick back country roads* plus I have lifetime rotation/repair !!!! Whoop Whoop
