Was pleasantly surprised with my dinner at flight deck. To be honest I had heard some mixed feedback about the food there but we ended up going anyway. I ordered the country fried chicken & it was excellent. Flavorful & crispy! My sweet potato fries & corn bread were also very delicious. However I wouldn't order the broccoli again. It was very mushy and watered down. The server was pleasant and did a wonderful job and the atmosphere was very happy and entertaining. I will definitely try again.

Unfortunately, my experience at the Flight Deck Restaurant in South Carolina was disappointing from start to finish. The food was subpar at best—bland, lacking freshness, and certainly not worth the price point.
Even more frustrating was the service. The waitstaff came across as uninterested and unfriendly, making us feel like an inconvenience rather than welcomed guests. But what truly pushed this visit into unacceptable territory was the manager’s behavior. Rather than addressing concerns professionally, he was dismissive, condescending, and had an unsettling, almost threatening tone during the conversation. It felt less like a conversation and more like an intimidation tactic.
Restaurants are about more than just food—they’re about the experience. And sadly, the experience here was one I wouldn’t recommend to anyone

This place is neat! A lot of aviation related memorabilia covers every wall. The food was delicious. I had the chicken cordon bleu and it was so flavorful, the mash potatoes were definitely from scratch and tasted scrumptious. My kiddos loved the cheeseburger and Mac and cheese. They have two life size super hero statues at the front that my 2 year old found to be so cool. The staff were very tentative and kind. The dessert case was stocked full of delicious cheesecake and regular cake. The cookies looked scrumptious and were huge! Can’t wait to try them next time!

This place really needs to hire more mature staff, the atmosphere was very highschool, and i feel for any men who dine here alone, the teenage girls like to accuse men of harassment when all they're doing is trying to enjoy their time here, there are tons of status and art to look at here and they seem to think all eyes are on their bodies for some reason, very self conscious and inappropriate behavior from waitresses...
not sure what is up with this new generation and thinking everyone is out to get them but, posting customers photos to social media groups is not the way to go about issues, thats very dangerous and childish behavior, and it could lead to lawsuits, i have seen multiple posts and seen them talk about male customers while eating inside as well, the manager needs to do better! These kids just love drama!

I have been a long time customer and my review isn’t necessarily about the restaurant but they host a monthly ladies bingo event that I attended Thursday night and my experience was humiliating to the point that I was in tears.
They cram at least 100 people into their large room with barely any space to move. I use a scooter for mobility but can sit in a chair and move my scooter against the wall when I go to restaurants
We had 2 people in our group not show so my friend moved my scooter behind those 2 chairs. The ladies at the next table complained and the staff made my friend take my scooter out the back door and put it in another room.
I was stuck not being able to walk. Had there been an emergency or a fire, I would not have been able to get out. I could not go to the restroom or even move during intermission. This was very humiliating and against ADA laws on so many levels.
Then they gave us our bill which included a 20% tip. I would have tipped that much anyway but we were taxed on the tip as well which is crazy.
I love this restaurant and can’t say enough wonderful things about Ted but this bingo event is not a positive for Flight Deck and is unorganized and very chaotic. My advice is to save yourself the hassle and skip this event.
