I had an amazing experience here for my teeth whitening! From the moment I walked in, the staff was friendly, welcoming, and made me feel comfortable. The office was spotless and had a calming atmosphere, which helped ease any nerves I had. The dentist, Dr. Castro and her assistant Perla were professional, took the time to explain the whitening process, and answered all of my questions with patience. I felt confident I was in great hands. The results were fantastic—my teeth are noticeably whiter, and I couldn’t be happier with my smile!

I wish I was able to give ZERO stars. This was my first experience dealing with this business and I regret it. My conclusion is that this place is a scam. What was supposed to be a routine cleaning turned into nearly $5,500 worth of dental work. They claim to have equipment that only they are able to access the data from and cannot be shared with other offices for second opinions. I was hung up on when I called to express my concern. Very disappointed with the moral standards of at this office. Otherwise pleasant staff but I really would AVOID this office at all costs. Wouldn’t recommend at all.

Staff up front are very professional. Stay away from surgery with these guys because they will not help you if you’re in pain. They write you a script for pain and if a pharmacist don’t agree with the dosage or quantity, you will not get them. They will not take steps to help fix the issue. There is a lot more to this story but they simply do not care. A staff member proved that to me. Just know even though you have a prescription for a medication, you may not get them! You will not know this until after the procedure and you could suffer the consequences. This is up to your surgeon and the pharmacy. Like I said, there is much more to this story. Consider your options before doing a surgery with this office. Staff called me this morning and we discussed the issue and she said she could not override the pharmacist. My doctors knew I was getting a pain medication for this procedure and agreed that it was OK for me to pick this up. I told her I wasn’t being treat right and I would not be back. The lady staff member that called me back said that’s fine if I don’t come back. She was the the same lady that worked me up & knew my situation! Funny how your valued customer until thing’s go wrong. Then your treat horrible. I will not call your office. I have already done that to resolve the problem before leaving this review. I’ve been degraded enough by your office. If someone cared at all they be calling me.

First, let me start with my initial experience at this practice for a toothache. Right away, they told me I needed a root canal. I opted out initially, but a week later, I gave in—which I now regret. I should have gotten a second opinion. I was scheduled for the root canal with Dr. Mareem Ali. After the root canal, they claimed I would need a crown, so they shaved my tooth down to a little nub and placed a crown on it. Just two days later, the crown fell off. I went back, and she tried to glue it again, but only three weeks later, it happened again—this time breaking the tiny bit of tooth that was left. When I returned, Dr. Ali actually told me she had anticipated this outcome because the tooth was weak from the start. If she knew that, why not just recommend an implant in the first place? I already have three implants, so it would have been the easier solution. They eventually agreed to put my root canal money toward an implant. About a month later, I was scheduled for the implant procedure. One month after that, the silver post fell out. Frustrated, I sent a picture to the dentist, who agreed to redo it for free, but now we had to wait for my gums to heal. When they redid the implant, it took four attempts to get the color of the crown to match my other teeth. Finally, I had to settle for the fourth attempt with the excuse that it had been sent back too many times already. The clear cement they used ended up making the silver post show through, and the color still didn’t match. To top it off, I had to pay additional costs out of pocket, and I’m now in the process of getting the crown redone with another dentist. To make matters worse, they’re now claiming that my canine tooth has a cavity and needs a root canal. Back where I’m from in Pennsylvania, they would simply remove the cavity and fill it, not push for a root canal right away. The worst part is that my husband recently had his initial appointment with them, and they tried to recommend the same aggressive treatment for two of his teeth. Fortunately, he had seen everything I went through and declined. Throughout all of this, Dr. Mareem Ali showed limited expertise, especially since she originally stated my tooth was weak yet still went ahead with an approach that failed repeatedly. Temporary crowns broke several times and even damaged my canine, as they were used to bridge the gap. Midway through, I requested another dentist, but the new one seemed frustrated, as if I had just been passed off to them. The front desk receptionists were also unsympathetic and gave me a hard time despite seeing my frustration. The only person who was genuinely caring and helpful was Kim, who became my go-to contact. Overall, this experience has been a nightmare.

Imagine how wonderful it felt to go get a haircut and be complimented on your smile by the hairdresser!! —- I have suffered for years with a greyish brown smile because I had fluoride poisoning as a child: I’ve always hidden my teeth because they made me feel so embarrassed. I recently switched over to Dentists of Lexington and immediately started treatment within the week and now I’ve had my veneers for almost a month and I’m always smiling now and getting compliments. The hair dresser thought they were my real teeth too! I told her they were veneers and she was floored! I don’t mind spreading the truth about how great Mareem and her team were! They treated me so well and made this such a stress free and painless process. I’m so glad I switched dentists. My smile hasn’t ever been this beautiful or healthy before!
