Columbia’s music scene picked up exactly where it left off within 2022

There exists something inherently pro-forma regarding these “taking stock from the year” cultural exercises. Speaking of “the picture, ” my favorite local picture moment of 2022 was your return of the Jam Area Music Festival, one of our own city’s best yearly music offerings that had been paused with the pandemic. As tightly coupled to the Main Street watering gap The Whig as the titular recording studio, there was some thing rejuvenating and bittersweet relating to this year’s festival.
