It’s not that the sandwiches are bad. If you can stomach the particular politics, Chick-fil-A’s fried filet on buttered bun along with pickles is definitely tasty, as well as the challenger introduced by Popeyes is no slouch (especially if you want it hot and choose the bountifully flavorful hot and spicy version). The simple buttered bun accents the filet without taking attention far from it, and the pickles put just enough to lend an intermittent zing. It is, in other words, the textbook example of the The southern part of chicken sandwich, and it’s fairly great. And it’s available at 9 locally owned locations through the Midlands.
