A brand new place for slurping Hard anodized cookware noodles will open immediately. An Asian restaurant, Hokkaido Ramen House will open up this week, owners announced upon social media Monday. The new ramen spot will be the first through the national chain to operate within the state, settling at 205 Columbia Ave. in Lexington, just five minutes up the street from Ganbei, a Sushi restaurant from the same proprietors. The restaurant is set to provide a variety of ramen dishes, which includes vegetable ramen and hot and spicy beef ramen, along with party foods like edamame (a steamed salty soybeans in the pod) and Asian pot peel off stickers. They will also offer bubble tea, a tea-based drink contained in Taiwan, as well as beer, wines and sake choices.

Menus range in price from $6 for edamame and $18 for the spicy beef ramen. The restaurant will open up in a popular spot within Lexington for smaller stores — in the same buying village, there’s an Ovum Up Grill, a morning meal chain that’s expanded in order to locations around the Midlands and also a Rush’s, a fast food string that’s been in the Columbia-area because the ’40s.
