COLUMBIA, S.C. — When it comes to bragging rights, both Shane Beamer and Dabo Swinney have experienced Rivalry Week outside the borders of the Palmetto State.
Beamer experienced the USC-Clemson rivalry when he was a USC assistant but his time at Virginia Tech, Mississippi State and Oklahoma gave him a front row seat for hotly contested games against the rivals of those programs.
Growing up in Alabama, Dabo Swinney experienced the Alabama-Auburn game as a fan, player and assistant coach.
The two men have brought those experiences to the Carolina-Clemson rivalry which will kick off for the 120th time Saturday night at Williams-Brice Stadium.
Kickoff is set for 7:30 p.m.
