Bockhorst out for the year with torn ACL

Clemson Offensive Lineman played over 1000 snaps during his career in the orange and purple.

CLEMSON, S.C. — One of the anchors of Clemson’s offensive line is now done for the year. 

Dabo Swinney announced Sunday that Offensive Lineman Matt Bockhorst has a torn ACL and is done for the season. 

During his career with Clemson, Bockhorst played over 1000 snaps, starting at both center and guard in his career. In 2020, he was a second-team all-ACC selection. 

The Tigers (4-3, 3-2 ACC) are back at home this weekend for a matchup against Florida State. Kickoff is at 3:30.
