WEST COLUMBIA, S.C. — Gray Collegiate Academy will be gunning for a third consecutive Class 2A state championship this weekend in Florence and LJ Britt is expected to play a big role in their effort.
Known as a “glue guy”, LJ makes sure the right defense is called and if a clutch bucket is needed, he can provide that as well.
With his parents serving as teachers, LJ is more than dedicated in terms of his school work. His 4.5 grade point average is the best on the GCA squad which makes him a champion in the classroom and on the court.
GCA head coach Dion Bethea says LJ’s leadership is one of his most important qualities and that should serve him well long after he has played his last game on the court.
