COLUMBIA, S.C. — With the NBA All-Star Game taking center stage in Indianpolis, GG Jackson took advantage of a few days off to back to Columbia to see family and friends.
The former Ridge View star who spent last season in a Gamecock uniform was on the court during halftime of the LSU game taking part in Legends Weekend.
At 19 years of age, GG is navigating his way through his rookie season with the Memphis Grizzlies. He recently broke Kobe Bryant’s record for the youngest player to score 25 points in a single game off the bench.
While it was good for GG to come back home, it was not a day free from work. GG made sure to get in a couple of workouts in as the life of an NBA player is 24/7, especially one who just signed a four-year contract.
