COLUMBIA, S.C. — It’s that time of year again, spring is in the air and the opening of baseball season is not too far away. Once again, the Columbia Fireflies will hold auditions for soloists and groups to sing the national anthem before home games at Segra Park this season.
If you think you’ve got what it takes to sing The Star-Spangled Banner in front of a home crowd, you’ll need to call or email John Oliver with the Fireflies to set up an audition time. The Fireflies will play 66 home games in 2024, so there are plenty of opportunities for local talent to knock it out of the park.
Here are the ground rules:
Opening night for the Fireflies at Segra Park is April 9 when the home team takes on the Myrtle Beach Pelicans at 7:05 p.m. Check out the full promotional schedule at columbiafireflies.com
