Poor customer service!!
I have been a patient for over three years and this was the first time that I have been extremely disappointed in the staff, mainly the manager! A few days before my appointment, I received an email from Killian’s dentistry informing me that there was a conflict with their scheduling and as a result of the conflict they asked me to change my appointment time from 4pm to 3pm. I informed them that I would try; I was returning from my vacation out of town. I shortened my stay and made it to my appointment 45 mins earlier than my appointment time. At 3pm, I saw another patient enter the office and as she was about to sit down in the waiting area, she was called to the back. This frustrated me, as I had been waiting almost an hour, however, I waited until 3:15pm and still had not been called seen. When I stepped to the front desk to express my frustration, I was given no explanation, no reason for the delay, but most importantly, no apology! I asked to cancel my appointment thinking this would prompted the receptionist to offer an explanation or sincere apology, but instead I was asked, “Are you sure?” As if that was preferred since obviously there was an error on their part for the initial conflict. I refrained from speaking because I didn’t want to express my frustration in front of the other patients so I asked for a comment card to leave with the Supervisor; I was given a small sticky note. When I left the office I called back to ask that a manager call me so I could speak with her about my experience, however two days of waiting and no return call. I called again to ask that the office manager contact me; it’s been two weeks and I have yet to hear back from anyone.
Utterly disappointed!

When I tell you I could have kissed the ER nurse who recommended this place to me, I mean it!!! Best dental service and affordable hands down. Dr. Patel and his staff were phenomenal. I had a year old root canal that needed a crown. What my current dentist quoted was almost double of Killian Dentistry quoted me. When I saw the total amount for TWO crowns, I was like where do I need to sign? Well, needless to say, my current dentist has just been demoted to my "former" dentist.

I was given an appointment after the 2nd visit. It was suggested that I have some dental work done that I felt was too costly and unnecessary. The appointment was cancelled the day before I was to go. It was suggested I call and make another appointment as if I had cancelled. To me, as a senior citizen, I felt disrespected because I chose not to go with the suggested treatment As it indicated in my chart that I had awful gingivitis, etc., if this dental practice was concerned about the actual client and not the money that my insurance could pay, I have been delegated to the “too old and not profitable for this practice shelf.” This would project to me as a non-entity. It is so sad to see our communities as well as our world come to the total disregard of humanity’s well being in favor of profit. 😥

I’ve been a patient at Killian Dentistry for a few years now. Dr Patel and his staff are always very nice and friendly. Dr Patel is very attentive and he’s very good at his job! Make an appointment because I highly recommend them!
