Prepare yourself to enjoy even more Asian food on Columbia’s Main Road. Kao Thai Cuisine, the well-known restaurant in the city’s Vista, will be relocating in order to Main Street early the coming year, according to a press release through Arnold Companies, the real estate team that facilitated the deal. The location will serve up modern Thailänder eats similar to those for the menu at the current Windows vista location and will expand hrs to be open for each lunch and dinner, based on the press release. The press release did not say when the current area in the Vista would close up.

The particular Asian-American fusion restaurant has been around the Vista — the particular city’s arts and amusement district on Gervais Road — since 2018. This joins other recently opened up Asian restaurants like Takosushi, which opened in Primary Street’s Arcade Building, as well as the forthcoming hibachi restaurant through the Middleton family, which will open up in October. It also increases the growing list of restaurants which have set their sights to the city’s Main Street — just last week Spotted Salamander Cafe and Catering introduced it would expand with a 2nd location in the former Get building. At least three dining places — Prohibition, Ambrosia Taverna and MOA Korean BARBECUE — are set to open up within the next year on the street.

The brand new location will be at 1307 Main St . in the room next to Cantina 76 and it is expected to open in early 2023.
