Regulators are asking drivers to prevent the route as crews function to clear the scene. LEXINGTON, S. C. — Motorists in Lexington are being advised to avoid a major route as a result of Friday morning crash. Based on the Lexington Police Department’s eleven: 40 a. m. statement, the crash happened upon Augusta Road (U. H. 1) at I-20. Presently, both inbound and outbound lanes are impacted. Motorists who plan to travel in the region are urged to find alternative routes as crews function to clear the wreckage. A photograph shared by the Lexington Law enforcement Department shows cars currently beginning to back up on the route.
