Batesburg-Leesville community rallies around female with special needs to create birthday memorable

Riley Holcomb is turning fourteen years old in June 2022. BATESBURG-LEESVILLE, S. C. — One little girl in Lexington county is feeling a tremendous amount of love from the girl community, just in time on her birthday. Riley Holcomb will be turning 14-years-old in 06 and is dreaming of a marvelous, fancy tea party along with dresses, gloves, tea bread, the whole nine yards. The lady lives in Batesburg-Leesville with the girl family. “She has 1q21. 1 micro delusion, that is a rare genetic disorder. This presents as autism, inch Mandi Johnson, Riley’s mom said. Mandi wants to create her daughter’s birthday teas party next month a special event to remember, so she published on Facebook for recommendations. “She wants everything elegant and frilly and glitzy and just big and the girl personality is big, and so i really want to make her celebration come to life for her, she warrants it, ” Johnson stated. The community is listening. Locations like Faithful Café and Hartley Home have offered big special discounts or even a free space for that party. “We’ve been wanting to think of ways that we can relinquish and get more support and much more involvement in the community on a nearby level and so when we noticed this we were like whoa, this is a perfect opportunity to utilize a family from Batesburg-Leesville, inch said Crystal Mustard, Hartley House venue director. The center of the town is glowing through the birthday confetti. “We have a two-year-old son and am guess when I saw her submit I just got to thinking like a parent there’s nothing that you didn’t do for your child.
