Tokyo Olympics livestreams through Friday: US competes for gold in beach volleyball and men’s basketball

TOKYO, Japan — The final weekend of Olympics is here, which means a lot of medals to be awarded in the next few days. The big events will be the U.S. going for the gold in men’s basketball and women’s beach volleyball.

The US women’s beach volleyball team will face Australia in the gold medal match at 10:30 p.m. EDT Thursday.

The men’s basketball team will take on France in the final match at 10:30 p.m. EDT Friday. France defeated the U.S. to open the Tokyo games.

In an interesting coincidence, both the U.S. women’s basketball and court volleyball teams will be playing Serbia for the right to go to their gold medal games beginning at midnight. Both events will be happening almost simultaneously, with the volleyball match starting 40 minutes before the basketball game.
