Michelle was awesome! From the time I entered until I left, she was knowledgeable, personable, helpful, kind and full of smiles. If I had any questions she was right there to answer them. Actually, the entire staff was great and I can tell they have a great working environment. Even though my tire wasn’t able to be patched, the tech showed me the issue & explained everything thoroughly. I really appreciate the feedback he gave and the options that were offered. Usually I go to another particular Mavis, as it is closer to my work, but I look forward to coming back to this particular location! Thanks again Michelle & staff!

The worst customer service ever. The manager seemed entitled and never got off of his chair to ensure that I was a happy customer. It didn't matter to him that I should give him my money or not and that being gracious that you have a job is not important. Speaking to the customer and communicating respectfully is key in sales and I will never give Mavis my money ever again. out of the three cars I got tires for, I still have a dully and a forty foot RV to add tires to. I do not recommend this place at all.

I came in with a tire that kept running low on air, turns out that it had a nail in it that was not patchable. However, Michelle and David worked with me and helped me get my tire replaced at an affordable price along with the insurance coverage if this is to happen again. They were extremely kind and flexible with me and I definitely recommend seeing them!

I recently visited Mavis Tires and Breaks located in Irmo SC for a simple tire patch, and I couldn’t be more impressed with the service I received. From the moment I walked in, the team was incredibly welcoming and made me feel like part of their family.
Not only did they fix my tire efficiently, but they also took the time to check my other tires and discovered a significant safety issue. Their attention to detail was outstanding, and I appreciated how they thoroughly explained everything to me in a way that was easy to understand.
As a 20-year-old woman, it’s often intimidating to visit auto shops, but the staff here was kind and respectful. They communicated transparently about every charge associated with the repairs, ensuring I felt confident in the decisions being made. I left feeling not only safe but also grateful for their honesty and expertise.
I highly recommend Mavis Tires and brakes located in Irmo SC to anyone in need of auto repairs. They truly care about their customers and go above and beyond in service. A big thank you to Rob, David and Michelle for a fantastic experience!

My husband went in May 20, 2024 to get my front tire on the passenger side Plugged, They told him they couldn’t do that and that we had to replace both the front tires and we paid almost $400 getting our front tires replaced. Fast forward to May 29 of 2024 I go in because of a sound coming from the front of my car, The manager, Dean tells me that The front brake hardwire is making contact on the rotor, Which made absolutely no sense because the car wasn’t making that sound before I brought it to Mavis. I tried explaining that to him, but he told me to go check with the person who changed my brakes and I left it at that. When I got home, I checked and saw that I was missing two Lugnuts from my front tire on the driver side! On top of that I was able to rotate a third nut with my freaking hand!!! They stripped the damn lug nuts on my car!!!! My tire could’ve came off with me and my child inside!!!!!!
If you look at the picture the third Lugnut to the left is pushed forward because I was rotating it with my freaking Fingers!!!!!!! If I could give y’all no stars, I would.
Update: Came back on May 30, 2024 after having my car towed back to them the previous day, The manager, Dean, Explained briefly what the problem was (someone didn’t follow protocol on their end) and apologized.He was very clear and honest about it after realizing the mistake, hence why I’m changing my review to 3 stars since his apology came off sincerely.
