Within unrelated cases, one guy distributed, one possessed components related to sexual exploitation associated with minors. LEXINGTON, S. D. — Two Lexington Region men have been arrested plus charged in unrelated situations pertaining to child sexual mistreatment material (CSAM). Brian Toby Brown, 18, of Western Columbia, was arrested upon Dec. 28, and billed with two counts associated with sexual exploitation of a small, second degree, a criminal offence offense punishable by as much as 10 years in prison upon each count. Nathan Allen Miller, 32, of Cayce, was arrested on December. 29, and charged along with four counts of intimate exploitation of a minor, 3rd degree, a felony criminal offense punishable by up to ten years in prison on every count. Investigators from the Internet Offences Against Children Task Push in the Lexington County Sheriff’s Department received a suggestion from the National Center just for Missing and Exploited Kids that led them to Dark brown and Miller. Investigators think that Brown distributed files associated with child sexual abuse materials and Miller was in ownership of child sexual misuse material. CSAM is the expression law enforcement now uses as opposed to the word “pornography. ” Internationally, it is believed CSAM is really a “more accurate reflection from the material involved in these heinous and abusive crimes. “”Pornography” can imply the child was obviously a consenting participant, say police force.
